You may be looking for help with anxiety, depression, or a painful experience. You may feel disconnected, caught in a familiar pattern, or unsure why life feels difficult even when things appear to be going well. You do not need a complete explanation before starting therapy.
I’m Isaac Giovannetti, MSW, founder of Inner Compass Counseling. I support adults and adolescents in Palm Beach County and throughout Florida through emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. Care is direct, supportive, and shaped around your history, circumstances, and goals. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and competent in working with concerns involving sexuality and sexual identity. All sessions are held by telehealth, so you can meet from anywhere in Florida.
Making sense of recurring patterns
We can explore how you relate to yourself and others, what happens when you feel overwhelmed, and the personal stories that influence your choices. Together, we connect that understanding with changes you can practice in daily life.
- Anxiety, phobias, and persistent worry
- Depression and feeling disconnected
- Relationship difficulties and being hard on yourself
- Grief, loss, and difficult experiences
- ADHD and emotional or behavioral challenges
- Sexuality, sexual identity, and LGBTQ+ experiences
An integrative approach to your care
The therapeutic relationship comes first. There is room for honest conversations about what feels helpful, what feels difficult, and what you would like to approach differently. You can ask questions about any part of the process.
I see emotional struggle as part of human experience, not as proof that something is wrong with you. What you are carrying may point to something worth understanding about your needs and who you are.
Where we begin
We start with what brought you in, your experience with therapy, and your hopes for the work. You can share what has helped before and what has felt missing. The early conversations give us a chance to understand your concerns and discuss a pace and direction that fit.
Working with adolescents
I work with adolescents as well as adults. For anyone under 18, I ask a parent or legal guardian to give consent before ongoing therapy begins. Early on, we talk about how parents or guardians are involved and how confidentiality works for a teen. Parents and guardians are welcome to reach out first with questions.
Availability and session fees
Individual therapy is $150 per hour. The initial 15-minute consultation is free. Clients pay for sessions directly; I do not submit insurance claims. Contact me to discuss current availability before scheduling. Therapy intensives are priced separately.
Talk about working together
Start with a free 15-minute initial consultation to ask about availability and working together. You can also read the guide to your first therapy consultation for questions to bring.
